Make sure your eyesight is OK , even if you can see OK , you may be straining your eyes making you drowsy , also keep the ventilation on and preferably to a cooler setting even opening the window a crack to let out the carbon dioxide . Get enough sleep and stay away from caffeine! You may think your sleeping 10 hours but are restless . Make sure you have a comfortable bed and pillow. At all costs stay away from those 5 hour energy shots . If possible do your start time at 5 am so when you exhaust your time its like any typical job and your sleep is not compromised , also your driving mostly during daylight hours . Stay hydrated with water and eat well , theres nothing wrong in pulling over and walking around the truck a few laps to circulate your blood ! Hope some of this advice help ! Good luck and if drowsy always remember others and your own safety . Pull over even if you take a 10 to 15 minute catnap . It can really help as no load is worth a life ! Merry Christmas !![]()

Take a multi-vitamin daily. Walmart or a vitamin store has tea capsules, which will keep you awake. They are powdered tea leaves. It works for me & it's legal & won't damage your health. -
