While this will never be noticed in Dallas, I take a smug sense of satisfaction knowing that the last message I recieved from my DM before he left on Sat said the Walmart would not take delivery until Monday, and by the time he returned today, not only was that load delivered, but another picked and I am sitting in the door waiting for it to be off loaded 1000 miles away

 

Now now, calm down, we don't need that independent thinking, efficiency, productivity and motivation around here.

 

Delivered to Winco this morning, and empty out in SLC tomorrow , with a backhaul out of Burley to be back in Clackamas Wed. morning. Hopefully no more chaining to do.

 

Don't misplace your gloves. I've seen the weather report for the Blues.

 

Delivered at WalMart in Loveland,Co this morning. on my 10hr break praying for a load home to NC for Christmas.

 

I called dispatch guy says "you're trying to get home to Delaware right" I said Hell no, I just got out of the North East...

Pick any other direction I really don't care...

So they give me a load to Connecticut. Delivers Friday and that 600+ miles from home. This isnt looking good.

 

I'd take the southern route through StLouis and Indy and hope repower Santa smiles on you. Only adds about 80 miles to the trip. Maybe a KS meat patch load needing help.

 

Halfway through day two of Orientation 1 in dallas. So far so good. Praying to do something soon, been idle since 0900 hrs.
