People will at least need the following...
Location
Type of Freight
Type of Trailer
Try http://www.truckstop.com/DemoSearches.aspx
or http://www.getloaded.com/
Both of these are load boards that have plenty of freight. Other folks might can give you more information after you tell them where you are and what you have. -
Get setup with the following brokerage companies and get access to their load boards.
Access America Transport
C.H. Robinson
Total Quality Logistics
Landstar
Sunteck Transport
XPO Logistics
UTi Transportation
Coyote Logistics
That should be a good start for you... Good luck!bbigcnote, SublimeJulian and Hillrw3 Thank this. -
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA "A good broker" woohoo thanks for the laugh!

Add Command to this good broker list. But getting to know those brokers is a MUST!! Get 1 or 2 contacts at each brokerage who you contact ( poss. better rates this way). But what you really need to do is find your very own customer ( in your area) btw this means getting all spiffed up and hitting the streets doing cold calls
. If you are lucky... 1 out of 10 cold calls " might" get you your own customer! This way you are heading out with a nice paying load ( no extra fingers in the pie, just you and your customer). Then look to the " good brokers " to get you back home.... Rinse and repeat
blacklabel Thanks this. -
