Very informative post IP. Can u tell me a little about the health insurance prime offers their lease operators? How much does it cost per week? How good is the coverage? Mainly just interested in the medical and dental insurance info.

Well, about 10,000 of those came onto your thread looking for a gotcha moment to bash leases in trucking, or to try to justify their failure. the other 1,000 are people just reading and gathering information to make a more informed decision. Your last long post was really good. (concise, informative, and interesting) Keep up the good work.

Health insurance is Anthem/BlueCross BlueShield of Missouri. Dental is Ameritas Group Dental. It covers my checkups, tests and 'scripts. Dental is very basic, limited and cheap. There is a new vision benefit I haven't really checked into. If IIRC, medical is about $80 and dental about $5 per week for a single person. You'd be well advised to contact recruiting about this. So far, I don't have any complaints about the coverage.

How long is the warranty for a lease truck from Prime and what does it cover?

    Ironpony??

How does your analysis improve your profit??
I understand that you have to be thrifty and smart with fuel, but where does your analysis effect your rate per mile.
Are you guys able to select loads by revenue?
Are you guys able to do your own maintenance to save money? or use your own preferred location?

As I understand that you travel slow to save money on fuel, What else do you have control over money wise to save money or more importantly make money?
Aren't you just analyzing what they give you and have no choice in the matter.....
