Exactly. Ive been called A steering wheel holder and not a "Trucker". If I am a steering wheel holder because I have no tickets, accidents and remain courteous to other drivers by signaling when they can come over so they can clear the traffic jam they have behind them in the left lane then so be it. Oh yeah I always tell someone on the radio when they got a light out or a load strap blowing in the wind. I guess ill remain a #### steering wheel holder...:)

Another thing, I've never had any problems backing out and I make sure I don't block other in as well. As for backing out, turn on flashers and back out very slowly after getting out and checking surroundings first. FYI also, I usually park at rest areas and truck only parking areas for the most part.

It's not usually you paying attention, it's the person not paying attention to you, I like to keep everything in MY site when possible.

I'm willing to bet money I can back this 48' spread flatbed into tighter spots than someone with a 53'. Not all flatbedders only pull through, I've had to bump a lot of docks as a flatbedder

No it don't. That is why they invented the rear axle, electrically operated dump valve. A flip of the toggle switch, on the dash and instant 35 footer, with 13 foot of rear overhang.
