I got 2,872 miles this week....I've also been running on my recap for the last 3 weeks.

Gonna end the year at about $53,500...was trying for 60k, didn't quite make it this time...95,000 miles for the year.

Do the Glass Division drivers get those kind of miles or does it tend to be less?

I only know one person in glass and he has been a bit slow right now...but this is not my typical miles. I usually get anywhere from 2000 to 2500. It all depends on where you live and of course how the freight is moving. It also depends on how you run. I keep my door shut and keep moving. When I do a load check, I make myself a quick sandwich and eat it on the go. So there are a lot of variables that go into how many miles you get.

Like I say never be afraid of running recap. Some of your best weeks will be recap.

Jim if you would do better route planning you would not have to be driving that many miles. LOL

I just done understand someone help me. I got hung out one week last month a ran 2873 but now I'm going home every weekend and I'm only getting 1100-1500 miles. A week. If I put in that macro that I want to stay out. Will I still get my 800 mile weekend or is that only when they hang u out?

The week before Thanksgiving i said i would stay out and still got sent home Thursday with under 1500 miles. The problem is they have more trucks than freight and can't keep everyone busy. I know what everyone says about it slowing down in the winter, but if that is the case than they should hold off on hiring so many driver leading up to it, instead of hiring everyone they can and not being able to give them any miles.
