I think the stainless hiney of my trailer is sexy and I like to show it off.

    Yanno what's lazy?

I'm parked in the first row at the Flying J in Tye, TX. It's a single row, straight across from the fuel islands. It's a straight pull-through from the fuel islands to park. How many drivers have pulled through from the fuel Island? One. Me. Everyone else drove around and pulled through to face the fuel island, with its associated noise, headlights shining through the windshield all night, and possibility of having your nose swiped by someone leaving the fuel islands that's not paying attention.

WHY are they facing the fuel island? So they don't have to walk that extra 70 feet from their cab, past their trailer to the door to the fuel desk.

Oh, and of course the parking lot smells like piss, even though it's about a 250 foot walk to the bathrooms from here.

    Un freaking believable.

Personally, I find it more difficult to get lined up properly to nose in to a space at 90 degrees than it is to back in.

This is why I seek out the spots that are a straight pull in, with a straight back out, such as those that are lined up with the driveways.

Yeah, but this is a single row. Straight pull in, straight pull out. Either direction.

I nose in a few times.

But almost every time somebody parks where they're not suppose to in the middle of the night and my easy in easy out becomes a nightmare for me when it's time to leave.

Had I backed in those spots my leaving would have been a tad easier.

I have absolutely NO problem banging on a truck that's parked in a non-parking space at a TS that's blocking me. I offer them my spot, since I'm leaving :)

I do understand that, however, that provides little protection for my hood. I prefer straight in, back straight out, perimeter parking places.

I'm sort of funny I guess. Me having to get out of my truck and bang on a door because I chose to nose in was never a thing I cherished doing. Bad way to start my morning.

If I'm backed in and can't get out because they parked in a non-spot. Then yea no problem banging on a door or two. They may not be happy but they seem to understand and move.
