Bill, I'm still interested in getting on board - do you still have that hard 1 year experience requirement in place? I've got 4 months left before I get there.

I also emailed you about your non-exclusive lease about a month ago, but as busy as you've been I don't blame you for not answering lol.

Experience is set by insurance company. We would need to talk about your background before for me to make a call on that. We have had insurance approve some and not others.

We have put non-exclusive on hold for tractors and just doing it with the new sprinter and straight truck division. Maybe some flatbed non-exclusive but we need to get through dispatching software upgrade.

Call me at the office after the first of the year and we can talk.

Sounds good. I'll probably need 4 months to get all my stuff in order and find a truck that I like anyway. And freight will be moving again by then.

Wait... You mean to tell me you have to negotiate for $550? Are you serious?

Oh yes - many of the brokers on ITS are real cheapskates. Including a lot of the Landstar agents. :)

Don't be bitter. Just don't deal with them.

Not often. In that case, he asked for a rate and that's what I told him I wanted.

I do, but I'd prefer that Landstar clean up their own house. That's been my point all along when I take jabs at LS. I want to know that I'm not wasting my time when I call on a LS load.
