I Start With Averitt in January 2012

No if you can't pass the physical or if you can't drive then your not hired either. When you go to orientation they are basically saying you have a opportunity for a job but first you have to pass a few obstacles (Driving test, phsycial, paperwork) Once you get that then Yes you are officially hired and receive your badge.

Yeah...the obvious stuff. But other companies will bring you in, and then not hire you because they didn't do a background check until you got there. Then they start finding stuff. With Averitt if you pee clean and drive halfway ddcent then you're good to go.

 

Hope everyone has a great Christmas and is safe, got in early Sunday morning. I ended up with alittle over 2400 miles, it was a long week. Heck I thought when I got back to Fulton I was going to have to drive my truck home. The place had trucks scattered all over place,it was crazy. Anyway I hope the new year brings everyone what theyre needing in their lives, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

 

What happened to you the other day? We were talking and you cut out on me and I couldn't get you to answer the phone again.

 

I don't know, but a lot was happening. I was in Dallas looking for a trailer that I was to take back to Fulton and someone unhooked from it but then pulled back in front of it,I was pretty aggravated , had been looking for an hr. probably . Nobody could even tell me where the proper location of trailers dropped , hand dark also. Sorry my friend.

 

I've had that happen at a service center at night...Waiting on tl to bring my trailer in and found out he has been sitting under it for the last 40 minutes.

i have a question maybe yall can answer! i have a wife & 4 kids and we go on vacation every year. i understand that i wont get a paid vacation my 1st year with averitt. can i still take time off to go on vacation with my family???

 

Actually you do get a paid 1 week vacation like after your 90 days... I know i did.
