    To whom this may concern,

I was recruited to professionally drive for your company on or about W/E 12/16/12.
During the course of the orientation I specifically asked “how often are the flatbed loads tarped?” The reply was “not often… occasionally”.
From my first load till the last 4 out of 5 flatbed loads have been tarped.
Four out of five is much more than “not often, occasionally”. That is called “most of the time”.
In Nevada, the basic rule is that every employment relationship is presumed to be terminable at the will of either party. This means either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment relationship for a good reason, a bad reason, or no reason at all.

It is out of the misrepresentation of this information, the disdain that happened last week between the Lowe’s DC in Beaumont, CA. and myself as well as the lack of inadequate equipment on TurLine’ part, which I will no longer be driving professionally for your company any longer.

    Three things.

    1. This breach is not of my doing, therefore I should not be penalized to cost of the UA.
1a I, AKA B1inHim am terminating my employment between TruLine and myself for breach of verbal contract/job description and inadequate equipment this December 26th, 2012.
1b The equipment and supplies provided to me are left at the secure yard in Fontana, Ca
1c The Bill of Laden for order # 374219, the last trip driven by me has been copied and attached to this e-mailing w/ the original being left in the cab.

    II
Last week I was given order # 373081 of which was strapped with ONE (1) strap and no other.

Staff at location treated me with disdain; unworthy of one's consideration or respect; contempt, scorn and utter disregard for myself and the trailer that they loaded which was not equipped with the least amount of straps (8). Then I was informed that I either could strap the trailer within 10 minutes and they would tarp or they would tarp and I could strap after IN 50PH winds@37 DEGREE WIND CHILL FACTOR.
I chose to strap first and planned to wait for next day to tarp but was demanded by their supervisory staff that I either take the load “as is” or abandon the load. I took the load, re-secured it @ the Fontana yard and delivered with no loss, breakage…

    III
I did NOT ABANDON a load, I finished what I started by attempting to deliver order # 374219 on 12/26/12 @ 06:30 but due to another of your company inadequacies (holes in tarps) the entire load was refused by consignee at job site and parked the truck at your secure yard in Fontana Ca, see card which has address of 13867 Valley Blvd., Fontana, Ca. 92335 as being YOUR yard on it. (Photo’ included)

I do not have any desire to be treated by complete strangers, as was I last week, as if I, me, personally, represent an entire company/fleet that is failing in relationship and responsibilities with its customers.
    Thank you,
    Sincerely

    B1inHim

Who told you should tarp every load. Must have driven for BFI companies all you career. You had to tarp 4 out of five loads because the weather has been bad in the area for the last month. I know because I pull flatbed IN CA, AZ, and NV. That is part of the job during winter time.

when i was a flat bed driver all shingle loads had to be tarped during a certain part of the year, usualy winter months, i thought it was rediculous but it was explianed to me that the salt on the roads will damage the product, if it is a required tarp, the company you are picking up from or delivering to should specify...

Every time I pulled bagged salt pallets out of NY they all had to be tarped even though they were wrapped. When I asked why they said the weather didn't matter, it was for securement.
