LOL I seriously doubt these pads will stop a bullet. The gloves have the pads on the fingertips and palms, so when EMT's are pulling people outta wrecks and such, they dont get cuts and whatever....I use them because thats where my gloves always wear out first--fingertips and palms.I have used them on a trial basis, but I don't think I'll get them again. While they were EXCELLENT gloves, the 3 months they lasted me was not worth the $30+ price for one pair. Now it's time to try another set.

I wear good ol' craftsman mechanics gloves, if its really wet i'll wear those darn rubber dipped gloves from the truck stop I use to fuel in, but they get cold pretty quickly...

I love those gloves, mainly because they are tight fitting and no bulky, I can't do jack squat with a big ol bulky pair of gloves on...i'm useless, haha.

I'm a big fan of anything that keeps my fingers warm.
I'm a welder and can p/u a red-hot piece of steel with a pair of $5.00 leather welding gloves! They insulate either way hot or cold. Once my fingers get really cold, I might as well have a pair of 16 oz. boxing gloves on! I can't do squat. Welding gloves cost less than 10 bucks and can be had at H/Depot or T/Value for example.SHC Thanks this. -
The best is someone else gloves, with there hands still in them.
