First Express, First Fleet, Averitt are all connected. Stay away from First Fleet; the terminals are so politicized the only drivers making fairly good money are the top 3 or 4 and the other drivers are just a necessary aggravation to deal with.

 

Really? Connected to Averitt? How do you know that?

 

Because they all use red volvo's with gray trailers behind them.
I take that back,i believe first express's trucks are blue.

Sad to say this is not illegal, a few companies back around 30 yrs or so ago would do this. But, to make it legal the company had to have you sign a form as part of filling out an application, a company could not hide this from an applicant, if they did it would make it illegal.

 

yep driver this is something most people dont understand if you drive there truck you are a employee. this is why they did that. this way you dont get any benefits, unemployment. nothing but a crappy job. keep in a mind when trucking company makes you sign something. they are doing that for a reason

 

driver first fleet was started by averitt express. the owner of averitt and the owner of first fleet are family. first fleet is basicly like averitt express. otherwords its a joke. you cant have tattoos,long hair, no beards. got to take a sleep study. you have to buy there uniforms. i can go on and on and on for days. take my advice unless you are just starving to death. dont waist your time with either of these cracker jack companies.
