HELP!!!! question - failed the drug screen

soo i f'd up

i started my schooling in the beggining of aug and finished middle of sept i had a job lined up with a big company afterwards .. so i went to do the drivers app and i ended up doing drive test + drug screen

passed everything but failed the drug screen

(i quit smoking weed end of july when i found out i got accepted to do the schooling)

so knowing i failed i was told i had to do some sort of sap program which i had to pay money for to see a drug counselor and i had to goto n/a meeting ... and i only did it because everyone i would talk to on the phone after failing the drug test said its the only way anyone would ever hire me after that ... which is totally understandable but like i said i did the program and i did everything and at the end of it the counselor told me that everything would be off my record because i finished the program and she dosnt think im addicted ... stupid i know... but at the same time i was never told i had to do another drug test of any kind to make sure .. just yesterday i got a call from another high end company and they gave me a interview i took it upon myself to let them know what happend because they were far away from where i lived and didnt wana drive there for them to tell me know so obviously i told them everything and that i also completed the sap program but STILL they said they couldnt hire me because of the drug test yet i did this stupid course that i had to pay money for and was told it was off my record...

so my question is

if i goto another company should i just not say anything about it since its "off my record" or was telling them the right thing. was the sap course a waste of money or does it do what it is soppose to.. PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE i mean i want to work im curretly a heavy tow operator but i really want to do long runs .. i have no idea what to do and noone seems to want to help me with anything
