Totally and completely false. Many carriers prefer to train "their way", much as SNI does. My only tanker job (which I've never ceased to be sorry I surrendered) required me to have one year OTR. No tanker experience required.

Yep, here's the kind of #### I'm leaving for.

My paycheck today was about $200. That was for 4 days of work last week. I've done 2 Home Depot store runs in less than a week. Now they've sent me a load with 0 paid miles t opickups and then 0 paid miles to delivery. Oh yea, the Delivery appoint is 5 hours from now. Total distance for the run is less than 20 miles of actual driving. By the end of today I will have a whole 150 miles of driving done.

I sent in the app this morning and talked to a driver. They are checking my references since I have a clean MVR and background. Starting rate will be either 43 or 49 CPM depending on what division I choose to go into.

Have fun everybody, I can't wait until they let me schedule orientation at the new job.

Maverick. Likely going to the Glass hauling division which is the 49 CPM. The only downside I'm seeing so far is the automatic transmission and Canada loads. I can deal with both of these.
