A search for what I would have been looking for. Start at $35,000. I offered them $30,000 for mine and they took it.
I should say, I bought my Century with 708K miles on it too.

Before changing any fluids I'd pull samples from each. Then you'll have a real idea of whats going on.
MNdriver Thanks this. -

any idea on how many hours are on the APU?
Personally, not a huge fan of 10 spds. -

I hear ya.
I found my truck that way and I just knew it was going to be mine.
It even had my name on the posting.
The salesman who listed it has the same name as me. 2 months later I was driving it home from WA to MN. -
if do want to email for info, might want to setup a temp account u would not keep. no real names etc..
that info on the century class was real eye opener, lighter and shorter. picking a freight shaker over kenworth? just goes to show you what the reality in comparisons bring out. brand specific trucks, i get that as seen where just ordering a simple rubber gasket could be problematic -
I have wind noise on the CB antenna's. I am actually considering relocating them to the back of the cab. Will see how that goes.
For the doors, I made a couple of polar fleece blankets that hang from the wing window and door lock to block the draft from my leg. I found some of those 50X60" polar fleece blankets at Menards for $1,97. Put in a couple of grommets in the right place. Instant hangers.
I do want to replace both of the seats and just recently put one of the old twin mattresses from the kids in the truck. I figured it was the old mattress that was stinking the thing up. And it was.
Repairs on my truck I've done.
Kingpins and tires, $2600
Exhaust Man gasket $1000
APU work, $1000 (5 broken wires and a bad power switch, bad motor mounts and idler pulley)
Bunk heater (just replaced that this week) $828
ECM programmed $XXXX. That's between me and Rebel but worth every penny you will spend on it.
Two new recaps on the trailer, $360.
Pair of rubber hoses for the intake between the Turbo and CAC $60 with clamps, total of $80.
re-shimmed the power divider $100.
Air Dryer Service pack (new Desicant filter and purge valve) $160.
Still need to do.
Batteries (2 marginal, one not marginal, not good, 1 good) $800 for yellow top Optima's.
Planning on drive tires come summer/fall $4800.
Landing gear for trailer ($400)
Rear trailer doors ($540)
I seem to be replacing my wiper blades every 3-4 months now. Enough so, I am looking to just by them by the case. (it's a pet peeve of mine)
