It's my space. I'm not sharing it I don't care if it pays better. I already have limited space to live in, last thing I need is some other person taking some of it away from me.
I also like the flexibility of doing what I want when I want. Nobody tells me when I can stop or where or how much I have to drive. I can go home for as long as I want and not have to worry about somebody else's life schedule.
How come more people don't drive as teams

i'd consider a female SINGLE codriver. NEVER again with a guy.
but i don't see ANY advantage to being team. you make the same money. and get less sleep. and living with someone 24/7 in very small confines that you probably WON'T get along with. and how do you work hometime? if you both live different places.
solo is the only way to go. -

Anybody who is stupid enough to think they can train another driver while sleeping should be off the road.DADof3 Thanks this. -
For the trainer to sleep while a trainee is at the wheel is nothing short of ludicrous, dangerous, and, as that trainer found out, STUPID!
p.s. I made many assumptions, here. So, not all situations may relate to the above. -

I need a 132 sleeper just for me and my dog. To make room for another person, I think I'd have to take the 5th wheel off and add additional sleeper. Then I might have room.
TruckerMike84 Thanks this.
