I've been talking with them I'm really waiting to sale mine they said they take trades but how can someone give you a price on a truck without looking at it I did drop my price if they would take it on trade but $11,k I don't think so

Harrison Truck Center in Iowa builds gliders as well. And their prices are a bit lower than Fitzgerald.

Different place. I worked in a stamping factory. Dealt with sheet steel all the time. Everything from foil all the way up to .625 thick.

true by about 1 thousand or so,
but if you look their trucks dont include the full running board and more importantly for us flatbedders the rear boxs on both sides... Fitzgerald's are full loaded ready to fill up with crap! The factory boxs are very thick and well built, not bad for a freightliner product!

here is another pic...to help get back on tract

and of our first truck...threw a rod out the side of block... devastating..

you are right, they don't have the boxes. They do have every other option tho. I already have stainless steel boxes that I would transfer over, so that didn't bother me anyways.

As for Bayou saying the other glider is a 6mpg truck, I don't quite understand how it makes a difference where they got it because a rebuilt 12.7 is a rebuilt 12.7 no matter where it's installed because they all come from Detroit already setup. Maybe this guy you know runs differently than most??? Like 80mph lol

Fitzgeralds actually does have a couple differences, they use a different turbo, manifold, and ECM tuning, at least that's what I was lead to believe when I was looking there.
