Yeah it's very physical and fast paced. It's team driving, me and my partner unloaded 297 cases in 45 minutes. That's from the time we popped the brakes to the time we pushed them back in. It's fast and fun

I was questioning myself as to what I got myself into, but after calculating my pay for today, well worth the muscle aches

    Meltom Thanks this.

Just hope it doesn't wear on you too quick Drty. So now sitting in a cul de sac outside C&S with other trucks almost piled on each other. Of course will have to get a lumper, god I hate this place. Also earlier today get preplan to go 175 miles south to Berlin NJ for pickup. This is when I get ticked at this crap. I'm about 2 hours from home, now I have to go south 3+ hours drive all flippin night most likely relay in Springfield because I can't deliver this load, (I'm going home for doc appt). So my first day home is sleeping instead of being able to take care of stuff. All the this of course depends on how long I'm stuck at this craphole.

In due to time i probably will be looking for a local gig. My kids hate the fact I leave for weeks at a time. Unless i get a regional gig eventully. If i could be home every weekend that would be easier for the kids.

But for the time being I'am loving OTR. I spend a heck of a lot less money. Most likely due to i dont have time to spend it lol.

Bayle, Treefork and DrtyDiesel Thank this.

Yeah I probably save around $80 a week just for gas in the car.

Just never had good experience with C&S, that includes the 2 week stint I did as a picker about 16 years ago. They are just a giant PITA. Even having to drop trailer and pull out a few feet. I can't remember the city but there is one in New Jersey that is the absolute worst, I think they hire from the prison up the street.

I am postive by the time this night is over someone is going to back into my truck. In Murfreesboro TN at the pilot. This is friggen hilarious watching everyone but also kinda scared with one spot open between me and a TMC truck.
