I picked up a load in Vegas after delivering there today that's going to Riverside CA. I'm at the Fontana yard now, had to drop the loaded trailer for a pm. Gotta go deliver this load tomorrow, then in headed back to the Fontana yard to get my Qualcomm fixed. Gonna stop at the truck wash across the street to get my truck washed first though because the #### thing is too #### dirty.

 

Now that you reminded me, I'm gonna order me a pair right now. The last pair I ordered were too big so I gave them to my father since he needed a pair. My current shoes arnt the greatest in snow.

 

Beware the vending machines in Edwardsville. The past 3 times, plus now, the stupid things take some of my money. One time is the coke machine, the next it will be one of the cooler machines, next time was the other cooler machine, and now the snack machine. The only two that haven't taken my money is the nasty coffee machine and the Pepsi machine sitting by itself.

 

I have a question. If you are ready to get on the road and there are no trucks available for you...shouldn't you get detention pay for each day you have to wait? Or, is that just wishful thinking? Just got out of training and was told there were no trucks available. Was sent home...been waiting for 6 days to get a truck. Looked on Crossroads and was only paid 2 days at training pay.

 

You would be paid if we were union.

PM time in Indianapolis. The shop is running ten ours behind schedule and the truck has to go the body shop afterwards to have an air fairing replaced. Might be here a while.....
