Just no chains on the produce. At least they are used to waiting on being loaded. That is the part I hate when I have to haul produce back from Yuma.

This is a great thread, Tootie! I'd love to eventually work up to that many axles. Always been one to require more responsibility on my loads or I get bored. I'm slowely getting there!

I've had a vuQube for years and I love it. I got the V30 satellite tracking back in my teaming days and still use it to this day as a solo flatbedder. I still just toss it up between my airhorns so it won't blow off when I stop, but i may start using a bungee to hold it.

Have you mounted it in any way? About a year ago I saw a combined glass hauler mount it to a flat piece of steel and secure it to his mirror with u-bolts on the volvo he had.. which was a great idea. So, i've been trying to come up with a way to do that myself. But, ive also contemplated getting the kingcontrols MB200 mount (found on their website but don't find too many retailers selling it) to install on the back of the cab. But, for 250 thats a tough bullet to bite when there could be other cheaper homemade options. I did see an ATS flatbedder with the MB200 mount installed yesterday though and it looked pretty sturdy.

Well the Tailgator seems to have DIED:biggrin_25510:. It just wont find a signal dont know why. So we are back to directv and doing the dish by hand...the Vuqube is most likely alot more tough than the tailgator and we carried in the van...not on, or in the truck. The tailgator has a mount you can buy to put it on your window...but since ours only lasted for less than 30 days...i would recommend keeping what you have and if it aint broke dont fix it!!

Couldnt cut the mustard hugh?? Some people just are not Combined material. All companies have their ups and downs...Combined is by far one of the best...but not for everyone.

    cowboy tmc Thanks this.

yeah we will drop it off here at the house...we are home now. Get it fixed then sell it. We are happy with Directv and doing it the old fashioned way.

    Hey Tootie,

This has been a really enjoyable thread to read. I'm heading up to Waterloo next Wednesday for orientation at Warren. Will be in machinery division with a little 2 axle RGN and my 2000 Pete. It's good for me. IA to TX and back again. Easy duty and pretty decent money. They seem like honest folk.......so far..:biggrin_25523:

Again, really have enjoyed reading......all the best to you and the Mr......be safe....will be reading along.
