OK, I saw a bunch of them headed east, while I was headed west, the other day.

SHC, Why are they wanting the bed plates tarped now?

Or is a new G.E. thing?

SHC, I bet nobody told you there is a big parking lot/ staging area on the right from the G.E. plant did they??
Last time I was there it's a dust bowl.
When I used to ld. out of there, they would come get you and lead you in..

They want them tarped so the plastic does not come off. That's all.

As for the parking lot, I know all about it. Alabama does not allow Sunday movement of OD loads. Plus my appt is at 10am, so I don't need to be there first thing.

Oh, Ok. I did not realize the bed plates were wide.

Last time I hauled G.E. they were using those dam brackets that were bolted on. Not a true bed plate.
Suzlon/ Seimons/ Gamesa, had bed plates..
I knew that on the old style G.E. hubs they had to tarped to keep the plastic from ripping.
    Well enjoy your day.
Going to Bangkok today and meet my one friend who is leaving back to the states in the morning.
Might do some good drinking today and send him off with a hangover as his flight leaves at 6 am. So he has to be at the airport by 4 am..
I hate the early morning flights.. 20 hours back to get back to the states:biggrin_2556:

Picked this up as a relay. 2 metal bins full of weird crap that the guy said was for transmissions? Idk.

5,480 pounds. Extremely light. Apparently easy to secure as well. Went to CAT

    SHC Thanks this.
