Can you say, "Greydog to home state?"!
It wasn't the puctured tank that was of great concern... it was the guys in the white suits walking around taking soil samples while you entertained the CHP!

Must be the day for breakdowns.
I am sitting in a rest area waiting for the service tech to return... main valve on trailer sprung a leak, he went to try and find a new one
Couple of fortuitous things however... A) I was in a rest area when this happened, and B) this is the rest area on I70 East at the IL/IN border, just past the chicken coop was open, had the prepass system turned off, had four cars.there meaning plenty of officers for inspections, and who sent the truck in front of me around back. So I never even hit I70 again, rolled straight here for a restroom break and then I can't leave... how much fun would this have been if it happened at the scale a mile.back??? -
i have been a driver for 16 years, was wondering if it makes any sense to think about working for stevens. i geuss Im asking about pay per mile, down time and anything else that would be helpful. Already know the trucks are set to 62mph, sucks but if all else is right I can live with it. Info on lease program would be great. Can you lease from day one and is it profitable?

no Grey dog for this boy, my wife is Fedexing my hard copy to me here at the hotel. I have this 30 day temp because I added doubles/triples/tanker to my license when I was home. I'll need to go through the same thing again when I do the Hazmat. Been studying for the test but sucking at the practice tests. Off to walk across the street to In-N-Out.

WTF is wrong with Road rescue? $800.part needed to fix this trailer. Now I am getting 20 questions about bleeding brake brake chambers and pump down... Apparently lost is the fact I could hear air leaking out, that it was draining the tanks and the I have a load of beef bound for New York that will now be late because in the 6 hrs since I first notified them they still can't seem to decide whether to give authorization for the new part or not. I assured them I am not going anywhere without it.

had a trailer abs module that was bad on a trailer when an owner operator and I did a repower in Muskogee OK. He had been driving with it for 2 days, with a trainee... very audible leak, that lost all air in less than 5 minutes... So my meat load headed south, and I spent 2 days at the pilot in muskogee waiting for RR to change service companies twice, meat trying to repower the broken trailer, that had NO ABS module, as the first service truck had it, and was demanding payment before releasing the part.
A total comedy of errors.
