I made it out to Henderson just fine running a more southern route from Cottage Grove. Worked out just like I wanted it to. I got in and dropped that load and now have my next one going to the Costco in Sumner,WA. Going to be really close on available hours to get there on time. I'm guessing some of you have done a load going to this place. What is the parking situation at this one? They let us park there? How early can we go in to park?...and so on??? I have a mid morning appointment on Thursday. Figure I can get there by sometime Wednesday night maybe. My 70 will be pretty much gone when I get there. In fact, I may have to run after midnight just to have enough that last day. Big week of miles for sure. Always like big weeks. :)

There is a pay parking lot just off the exit (13.00 the last time I was there). It is a mile or so on down the road to the Costco. I wouldn't arrive but 1 hour ahead of time as both times I was there they were sticklers for the appt. time but did manage to get me unloaded within an hour or so of said time.

Having to do the split sleeper tango for the next couple of days but the timing works out real well to get the first two loads knocked off in Glendive, MT and Butte, MT. Made it to Fargo, ND tonight after a two hour delay with reworking my load that was way too heavy on the ### end. Checked the weather and it actually looks quite good across the route for the next few days, hopefully the weather folks know what they are talking about this time.

Oh, ok! I was hoping they were one of the few that will let drivers park on their lot. Thanks for the info on the pay to park place. I hate to pay to park but probably will. Hard to find free spots up in that area. I know they are out there but ya got to know the area and I don't. Hope the weather treats both of us ok in the NW. Be careful out there taking your tour. :)

This is all true. Plus, Poly will pay for one night's parking at that Shell station. If you want free parking, go past the Shell entrance about one quarter mile & on the right is a large potholed dirt lot others utilize. I personally don't use it.

Oh good deal. That's all good information. I'll probably do the pay parking deal. Going to be really low on hours after I deliver. What places do we usually Backhaul out of from this load? I'll need something with a little time on it. Thanks again for the info. :)

Got my first stop knocked off and just awaiting the rest of my 2 hours to pass to roll on down to Billings for the night. Actually quite balmy up here, my thermometer is reading 38 degrees. Hoping that trend continues for the next few days. The first trip out of the Costco area was up the road to Auburn to pick up some candy going to Phoenix. The other one was up to a port type area in Seattle to "Dawn Foods" that went to San Antonio.

    Kutina and LilRobWayne Thank this.

Possible backhaul locations: Wenatchee,WA, Longview,WA, Eugene,OR, Nyssa,OR, or Sumner,WA which would be a load for Roadrunner Freight & is located a few businesses down from COSTCO on the left as you leave COSTCO. The destination leaving one of these cities will vary.

Spending the night in Hazelton,PA waiting for the am to roll around to unload. Then deadheading 500 miles to Ottawa,OH to pick up Thursday going to Ballinger,TX for Monday morning. Will probably pass thru the GP yard this weekend and see about a PM on the truck as I'm currently 4700 miles over due.

Did I mention I love my job?

I made it back to Denver. Forgot the annual Livestock Show is going on. Had a hell of a time finding a hotel room for the night! But I was able to get into the La Quinta for one night only. Hopefully my Lonestars check engine light issues will be repaired tomorrow and I can get the heck out of here.
