I am Western 11 regional, though my DBL runs me all over the 48. I am averaging over 3000 miles a week since coming back out from 5 days TAH on Jan 1st. I stay out 3-4 weeks and take 4-5 days off when I get back home.

I have been driving for 3 months. I was issued an 07 Century at first, but it blew up and I was assigned an 11 Cascadia. Check out my other threads to learn more:

ok ok gentleman, got word earlier that i was approved for rehire! I should be doing my phone interview/going over application etc...Ill be on the regional fleet out of Charlotte. ( i live just outside Greensboro) Ill be out 6-7 days, then home for 34-48 hrs. Anyone out there on regional? how realistic will the hometime be? any reason not to believe ill be home after 6-7 days (other than breakdown etc) give me the dirt!

 

You need to find out if it's one of those slip seat deals. If so, you can't bring allot with you. You have to clean out the truck everytime you go home. I was on one of those part time things. I was supposed to leave out Friday and be back no later than Monday. They kept me out 8 days. The closest they could get me home was Houston. In that 8 days I ran 700 miles. Sat for 3 or 4 1 1/2 days in Houston. I brought the tractor back to Dallas and turned it in. The so -called BLD's in Dallas are boneheads.

Yeah you may get home every week. Not sure you'll make any money though. Im regional out of Charlotte and wait why am i in CT going to NH? Oh yeah Charlotte drivers spend a lot of time running NE. been regional 2 years and never stayed in the south. Expect no miles if you go home every week.

well thats weird. why keep southeast regional in the NE? is there any NYC? i sure as hell hope not. any chance of bringing home at least 650 a week? thanks...

 

This is the new sleep study deal. I have 2 things on my fingers, one over my heart, and mic on my neck to measure how much/loud I snore. You now sleep in your truck instead of in a sleep lab with 20 something electrodes hooked up to you. They said they get a more accurate result this way, and its cheaper. I don"t care why, I just like that I don't have to sleep with all those wires and someone stalking me all night.

I want one. I have seen too many people get one and do nothing but praise it and talk about how good they feel now and have notice how much more energy they have. I'm tired of being tired all day everyday and hope this will solve it. If not, then there's something else wrong and I fear the possibilities of what it may be. So we shall see.
