What number do you have for the agent? I'd call him and leave a message that the homeless shelter appreciated his donation of the 150 cases of food! Perhaps that will get him to call you! Good luck
Need advice from BCO's about a problem i've never run into

Time for an update.
I finally got approval to return it to NFI at Cherry Hill. Agent gave me a freight bill number, but never bothered to e mail me the confirmation page. Still don't have it. But thanks to BCO advisors, I was able to verify it is a good number, and I'm on my way to get this off my truck.
Needless to say, I will never deal with CAP again. I will also be filing a formal complaint with customer service when I'm unloaded. This has cost me almost 2 days, and they gave me $150 for my trouble. Aren't they generous?
If there is any good news here, it's that I've been with LandStar for almost a year, and I know this is not the norm. Overall, I've been very successful with agents and loads, and I only have a few bad agents on my list, with dozens of really good ones.
Thanks for the input people. From the total lack of posts from BCO's who have had this happen to them, I assume that it doesn't happen very often. Thank God for that. It's a helpless feeling, when you want to do the right thing, but can't figure out what it is.
So, hopefully in a couple of hours this will be off my trailer and I can get a decent load on. Thanks again all.scottied67 Thanks this. -
No this is not the NORM! most agents are pretty good and most of the time they work with you not against you. I do hope they get you paid for all your time , customer service is usually pretty good about this type of thing.
BTW thanks for the tip on the restraunt! Hope youur week gets better -
Hope you got your permits. Have a safe trip. -
as soon as they told me i wasnt getting paid to babysit, i would have dropped their trailer at any yard -

ok, then we would have been in the same pickle
glad it kinda sorta worked out for you
i am sitting after TQL screwed up a load assignment, not bad, got $1/mile deadhead, but still............ -
I did finally get it off, no thanks to the agent. I'll never book a load with them again. I went back to NFI in Cherry Hill, NJ, and they said nobody ever told them about it. I had to get it fixed myself. Thankfully the receiver was understanding and unloaded it.
Hope all works out for you.
