Canada Customs on the other hand always asks about "any firearms or weapons" I've never told them about the knife. It has never occurred to me the it could be seen as a weapon, actually. And no, you can't bring a firearm into Canada unless you're importing it or taking it into Alaska as part of a household shipment.
Only the cops and bad guys "carry" in Canada. -
My pocket knife is a tool not a weapon. Now the cop may see it different. But if you look at the scatches you will see I use it as a tool. A sharp tool but still a tool. Now mine is a buck knife that is used as a tool. If you have some Crocadile Dundy knife I don't think that counts as a tool.
