ok any help is appreciated, So you guys know I have been through the qualifacation process in and out and got qualified and went through orientation got my trailer and looking for my first load. Well my phone rings, it is qualifications in Jacksonville. The first thing the lady says is" I have bad new for you,we are terminating your lease". So I ask her what was the problem. She says " the felony you had 20 yrs ago, (due to an automobile accident alcohol was not involve) we can not continue your lease. I called and asked about it upfront before I even filled out an app. It was also on my hireright,and even talked to qualifications about it and everyone said it was fine, so what is the deal NOW? Is there anyone HIGHER up I can talk to? Any help is appreciated.

 

Well crap, none that I can think of.

 

Everything has been taking care of and my lease was reinstated. They call and apologized for the mistake. They thought it was in a commercial vehicle and it wasn't. There is a god above.

Your right i thought man i just am not having any luck at all. Then my wife comes home &I I tell her, her blood pressure goes through the roof. I just wanted to run away. LOL.

 

LS is a trip to deal with. I brought it up at the cabs class in rockford how so many times, one hand doesnt knkw what the other is doing. And their are about 5000 hands sticking their finger in your pie and making snap judements just like the one you just had. When something happens again just take a breath and call some more people. LS needs to catch up with the consolidated practices of other large carriers. Theyre behind the times as of right now so you just have to deal with it for the time being. But.....theyre still a cool company with more ability to do what you want compared to.other places that dictate to you or starve you out if they choose. Just breath. Calm down. Make some calls

 

Also, go get a big ol pack of spiral 100 page notebooks and keep them in the truck. I write loads on one. Agents on another. And another for just notes. The main thing when u get a call like that is notes. Somebody may call you but theyre a contractor rep.from grand prairie and they say you are canned and they do it with a bad attitude all abruptly. Get a name date time location and notes of the convo. Cuz Jacksonville may not even know about it. But u have your ducks in a row it can usually get resolved just keep goin up the chain. A bco thats been here like 12 years got a call one day that he was canned for a ticket that wasnt his. He made some calls and the girl that fired him so quickly and with attitude got herself fired. He kept notes and followed thru.
