Still not many miles for me. $150 take home last week. $280 take home this week. This won't pay the bills.

Really, please divulge some details. Were you detained, too much advance on the check, breakdowns? Or were you really just given that few miles.

Ya Jim, I was on recap this week so only got 2,788. Hopefully I'll do better next week after my 34 at the house. You'll probably only be able to take home a grand next week running on recap.

    JimTheHut Thanks this.

Jim is on recap again so I guess will be seeing 3000 mile weeks again. I think you better stay home and get a restart so the rest of us can get some freight. LOL

I did 5 loads this week and they were all tarp. Two of them were pick up and deliver in the same day. You definitely work harder when you have the short runs, but I always have a good week and the extra tarp pay helps!
And I had to secure two loads twice and tarp one load twice.....one each was my doing though....lol

I've been reading and reading and nowhere have I seen it explained but you guys talk about it all the time. Pardon my ignorance, but what is "recap"?

Re-Cap (Re-capture) is how you have to manage the amount of hours that you have throughout the next week if you do not get the 34 hour restart to your 70hr week work clock. You have to watch the amount of time you work each day because you only "re-capture" a certain amount of eligible hours each day. You will learn grasshopper.
