Roehl Driver Check In

They were putting it back up right this morning when i drove by at 10 am ish. I got a photo but phone wont let me upload.

 

Well I called maintenance than morning, but no one was there. So I read the truck manual it said to turn the key to the left to the acc so that's what I did. It run just fine for the rest of the night. I did call maintenance last night to ask if the acc is what they wanted us to do and the guy said no, that would kill the batteries. He also said the had an auto idle for certain temps. That doesn't did not work for me before I tried the acc. My batteries didnt die either. Last night. I left the key off and since I drove all day my heat lasted all night. The previous day I hadnt drove that much so my batteries weren't fully charged.

 

54 mins left on my 70 had enough time to pick load and make it too Appleton to sit and wait for hours at midnight so i can head to KY. This past week they have run the wheels off my truck. Its been WI too TX and back and forth tight time schedule's. Each run was 1k or more on miles nice.

 

Picked my truck up from dealership last night in Canton, OH after getting the head replaced. Picked up a lumber load in PA this morning, while going up a steep grade heard a loud pop and the truck cut off. Called breakdown since it would not start and there was diesel leaking from the engine. Wrecker arrived, mechanic looked at the engine and the fuel line blew off the fuel injector. Whoever did my previous repair stripped the threads on the fuel line and did not put several brackets back in place. So now I'm broken down....again....they can't look at it till Monday so sitting in a hotel...again. ###### man!

 

pulled into the TA in Mount Vernon, IL with 13 min left of my 11:00. a new personal best 620.2 miles as well.

i think i saw a few roehl-ityes when i came in at 3:30 or so, got one parked across from me.

was expecting to run into the frigid weather i hear is out here, but one more day of nice. should turn cold tomorrow as i head for MN for my 2 stopper finishing in E Grand Fork.

That sux. No excuse for the mechanic who stripped the threads (you know it when you do that); that's just sloppy.

 

T/A xt 173 I-80 PA. I-71 south in Ohio around mm170 was closed earlier today, a truck had gone off the road I had heard there was a fatality. I saw the truck it had gone into a bunch of small trees. But what a backup, 3 lanes for miles, they were making everyone detour since the road was shutdown, glad I was going north.

 

HOME!! Just got up, its a balmey -10 below this am we had 46mph winds last night but they have now subsided.....
