Today was almost T-shirt weather here in Misery.

 

tee #### shorts and flip flops here today. The flipped pollen is even falling this is just crazy in January . Three days of record highs last week in loving this.

 

I rolled through baker city yesterday morning and then back down to 97 and down in klamath falls OR tonight.

 

I hauled them from San Antonio to Freeport Texas. They went to a different customer. Since I did not have a Twic card I had to pay for an escort service to get into the port. I paid $ 70.00 and all I got was being led around. Somehow I felt cheated.

 

I had a whole load of pineapples rejected due to mold. Was trying to deliever over by Pittsburg, I think. Ended up having to run them a Del Monte facility in MD. Guess they were making fruit cups there.

 

When JJ was with Central we had a whole load of Pineapples rejected we gave them away at the pay truck stop we were at!

I got the hook up this morning. 7 cases of Poptarts rejected. So now I have them for the year. At least I am guessing it will take that long for me to eat 42 boxes of them. Will probibly give some to friends and people at the home terminal. I am nice like that sometimes.

I had that happen to me in Cali at Port Hueneme. Here I am a retired Army Sgt Major being led around a loading dock by a guy I had to speak Spanish to because he didnt speak English. Only in America.

 

i woulda said NO ESPANOL.

and i wouldn't be lieing either. LOL.

hung out with rugerfan's brothers today. 2 of them unloading at the same place. and another one camping out at the TA with me.

i hate parking lots like these. i'm gonna drive straight in rather then blindside back in. hopefully i can get out in the morning. apparently portland is as slow as phoenix is for freight.
