Whats your experience? I am pulling Containers and when i come out of the ports to the Commercial Business Customers Dock, usually i'm there for two hours so i'm thinking of buying a 12 volt Flat Screen TV from any Truch Stop. Any advice like how this tv handles with the trucks vibration? any deals out there? Thanks.

I bought one of the NAXA brands at the TA with built in DVD; it has fallen off the shelf, off the bed, and still works perfectly!!

That was my concern, i can secure it on my tv shelf, but the vibration was my primary concern since i have a Freightshaker. I will look for that brand NAXA. Theres a TA on I-4 exit 10. Thanks for the heads up.

NAXA?... Wooo Hooo... another Chinese product. I won't even wear underwear that's made in China... I might chafe.

    I guess that's why I don't have a TV/DVD player or any other unnecessary device in my truck. I drive, I exercise, I shower, I read, I sleep... I drive, I exercise, I shower, I read, I sleep...

I have no idea what the prices are for 12 volt Flat Screens but you may want to consider going with a lap top. I just Googled this and this is what you get for $228.00 from Wal-Mart.

I bought a Love's "special" 17" flat screen with built in DVD for $299.99, the DVD player quit after about 3 mo. I took it back to the same Loves I bought it from WITH the original reciept, and was told I have to ship it to manufacturer (at my expence $52.00 or $94.00 with ins.)and THEY will decide IF it's a warrenty issue or "abuse" issue, I could clearly see where this was going. Now its in my grandaughters room (the TV part still works).

I have a 110 volt 19 inch flat screen from Walmart that I run off a 175 watt plug in inverter, it's a cpouple years old now and still works fine. Alot cheaper then a 12 volt from a truckstop.

I bought a 26" LED from Best Buy. While I have an APU and invert, it took less than 100W. At todays prices you can buy one of these with the extended warranty, a 150 watt vert and be less than what the tinny tv would be at a TS.

BTW, it lived in truck for over a year and is now out of truck and still working as a monitor.
