I know when i get routed to get things fixed its all dependent on freight. but if its something that will shut you down on dot they will figure something out. Like my issues right now are DOT issues. Leaking truck and air leaks will shut me down. they would of sent me to a international dealer if it wasnt a 4 day wait to get the truck looked at.

The Columbia I had b4 the prostar I have now was a hose that was leaking. I couldn't tell exactly where but that was the problem. Went through a gallon of antifreeze every day or two. I just kept her full till I got to a terminal. When it happened for me I was in Arkansas way away from a terminal. I have a babysit a leaking tire now, today is the 4 day she's been losing air. Anybody with a prostar and lose more than 15 psi of air knows that stupid beeping sound. Had to stop in Winchester FJ to fill her up again. Should last til Ellenhood.

petro in raphne va off 81 x205, then to atl. Got loaded early relaying this bish, maybe another load or a load home to t-shirt and shorts weather.

So you don't think an alignment is a dot issue? Are you kidding me?

But truthfully i am not positive that a alignment is something dot looks at. So i wouldnt know if its a dot issue or not.

But easiest way to get that issue fixed Call into to Safety if you think the truck is unsafe to drive. That will force the issue.

Theyll look at the tread IF you get inspected. If it really bothers you and you feel unsafe then call safety tell them your at a petro/ta to get it fixed and not moving til it's resolved. Going home you'll still have the same issue. Stand up for yourself voice your concern. If your fm doesn't hear it then go above his head to safety. I've dealt with alot of truck issues here and honestly felt like hanging it up alot of times. Especially with all the new equipment and new students fresh out getting new trucks. It sucks but you have to tough it out. Every truck has it quirks, unless its brand new they get beat on before you hop in the seat. My truck was 20,000 miles and had and has issues. So get on the horn and speak to somebody in safety. I said petro/TA to get fixed because you can get the miles and get it fixed in route instead of missing miles sitting at a terminal. They'll give you a po# for the work done to put and scanned in with a trip sheet.
