Right now is the slow time of the year here in OK...don't know how it is at other dc's. You may want to wait a bit.
-
BDT...I've never heard any type of policy on reapplies, but it is our slowest time of the year, which could also play a role in getting turned away in the first place. Like TexomaOKie said, waiting a bit could improve your chances if you're deadset on Dot. I'll do some digging and see how many drivers they might be looking to add.

Have you considered applying for the warehouse, I know some DCs those guys work super sweet shifts, 3/12s. Dots still keeping me plenty busy, I delivered 3,900 cases the other day

It's a thought, that's how my husband moved over to the trucking side. He worked in the warehouse for a year, then transferred over.

Hey J-Ro, i am still hunting for a Dot job. I have been trying to keep my name in front of Steves eyes. If you hear of anything happening i would appreciate you letting me know. Thanks

I applied for part time transfer driver position, got a call from hr, any scoop on that job, good, bad or ugly?
-
I know a couple of the part timers and they mostly do turns out to London, OH or Mt. Sterling. Sometimes shuttle trailers to drivers that can't make it back to the yard that night. Other than that I don't know a whole lot about how they dispatch those guys or if they're just on an "on call" basis to help out. No throwing freight.
