Yeah we had one in the plant....Z-bar I think and it wasn't 500....more like 200 something and yes it worked but was easily overloaded with multiple calls vs no coverage at all without it.

    Whatcha thinking? House ? truck?

    That help?

Sorry for the dumb question but is this the same thing as a signal booster?

Could be, The Z-Bar unit we had was mounted on the wall and created the link between the tower and you where there was none....so boost maybe yes?

If you're talking about cellular signal "boosters" for mobile use, these ..

(Particularly the bigger unit) are what most of the storm chasers use, combined with Verizon service. They boost 2g and 3g but not 4g. Bt if you're in 4G[lte] coverage, you probably don't need a booster anyway.

I have the mobile pro in the pickup. Does boost you on data and calls, but sometimes you have to nearly have your phone sitting on the unit to get better signal. Other than that, yes it does work.

Yes, they do work! There several brands. Call Capture has been being sold in travel centers.
Mostly for 2G and 3G service...most 4G service does not need a amp /rooster. Check out this link for great value amps and packages. You can reach them via contact page.
