So far I've heard nothing. I was very proactive about the issue. I got the names of the people I had asked to stay on the property. I had called my DM and told them it might happen. The next day I was in the office and talked to the DM on duty. She made a note on the screen. I'm still waiting to hear something.

I think that only applies if the cause is something you could not have foreseen such as a crash that blocked traffic and held you up or a sudden storm that no one saw coming. Then you can drive of up to two hours past you 11 but not over your 14. That's the way it was explained to me during my log class.

I was all ready to sleep in this morning....the radio came on at 0230 blasting music. I've never set it and never left it on when I turned the truck off. So much for sleeping in. I got up, had breakfast, did my pretrip and called the delivery address. I got directions and 15 minutes later I was waiting by the warehouse. There was one truck in front of me. No biggie. Once he left I backed in. It was a bit odd because I had to block the entire street. The guy told me that it's been like that for 20 years. Once he was finished I was off and headed towards MT.

There really isn't anything new to report. I had a great day cruising along through Wyoming. Perhaps it was just the warmer weather and sunshine that made me feel better. It could be that I'm getting closer to home. I think today was really the first time I took the time to really appreciate the beauty of the countryside. I know I've seen it before and made comments about it. Perhaps today I found my Zen. At least that's what my buddy thinks. There was a beautiful red sky as the sun was setting and it was in stark contrast to the black looking mountains. I was torn between stopping to admire for a bit and pushing on to my stop for the night. I pushed on. I wish I hadn't. I think the lesson here is to make the time and to enjoy what's around us. I feel a lot better about this whole adventure.

I made it!! Back to the Northwest. I drove from Sheridan, WY to Post Falls, ID today. The longest stretch I've driven so far. I wanted to beat the snow and I did. It started dumping right after I parked.

Lesson for the day. Make darn sure that the card you swipe at the fuel station is Comdata and not your own. If you have the money, you will be able to fill up the truck. I won't go into it to much. I got it taken care of and when I get home I'm having a new card made that's a different color. One of the responses I got from my DM was that it might be hard to get my money because there is no proof I put fuel in the truck. REALLY??? I'm thinking all of the is on the qualcomm. I'm glad I don't have to make my argument.

I am surprised your card did not shut off at 100 dollars.

I never thought of that. I know when I fill up the pickup it shuts off. The only reason it wouldn't give me fuel in Superior is because I didn't have another $500 in the account to take. I called the bank and they didn't shut me off. It was just another stupid mistake. A lesson learned. I won't feel better until I see the money in my account.

Banks know that at truck stops, 100 bucks isn't enough to fill an 18 wheeler so they let the card keep running as long as funds last. My buddy had that happen to him as well. Being my com card was same color as my debit card what I did in case I was in a hurry or not paying attention was put a piece of masking tap across the top edge of the card so it felt different even in a hurry to grab, and found that by doing that you also never got into those battles where some days your wallet wont let go of the card lol.
