Funny thing is everyone but the person I got the tude from is making excuses for her, haven't heard anything from her. I already make decent money on the company side (for Stevens), so going Alliance is truely optional at this point.

Back up the bus and go back and re read my posts keeping in mind I was frustrated and venting. You are jumping to way too many conclusions here. Before you assume anything about my attitude, I hope you will give me the benefit of asking me first. I did the same thing just yesterday, but after a nights sleep, I went this morning and we talked and worked it out. It was never about smoking/non smoking, it was about perceived attitude, which I assume is the same issue you are having with me. We worked it out by discussing what happened and communicating with each other. She told me she had a driver who waied 2.5 weeks for a non smoking truck, I told her if that I wouldn't wait that long if they didn't have one. Then she gave me a couple of truck numbers to check on for myself and the first one I looked at is a non smokers truck, so I lucked out, and signed my lease this morning. When people get frustrated and upset stuff comes out of their mouth/fingers that probably shouldn't. Yes, I am an adult and eventually I remember that.

Happy it worked out. I know the individual personally, so obviously she was having an extremely bad day the 1st day. That being said, I have absolutely nothing good to say about the other female that deals with Alliance, but have spoken to others that rave about her. (if she has good days, I haven't seen one in over 2 years!!) Hope to see you 'on the road' soon. BTW, T660, T700, Pete??

Air brakes... that was the other one.

They will drop you and everyone else who still has tests to take at the garland DPS in the afternoon and pick you back uo at the end of the day, when you get that last one passed you will spend your afternoons on the hill doing skills training.

Well, weekend is over. Time to go back to work tomorrow and see how bad I can mess everyone's day up! :biggrin_25526:
Celebrated my 317th anniversary with my wife thursday. My old best man turned up and helped us. He had to do a 34 anyway.
So let's see how things went while I was gone. There were a couple incidents I was furious over and now will wait and see how management handled them.
    Oh joy...for joy!

Hey buddy, if possible I would recommend doing everything that you can before getting to Stevens. And I know this may be a stretch, but I would go as far as renting one of thise trucks outside the DPS office and get your CDL before as well. It will cost you the money to rent the truck, but it may be worth it. I thought it was in my case.

I assume that you live in NE Tarrant, huh? I grew up in NRH and now living in SW Ft. Worth.

    Take care and good luck!
