Swell. Now, every time a Pilot tanker is in my sight, I'll start laughing. Which will make me lose control of my truck. Which will make me take out a fuel island. Which will cost me my job. Which will cost me my house. Which means I'll soon be living in a tent. Which means I'll be back on TTR asking "if this will affect my CSA".
And it's all your fault. See how ya are??

When I was still otr, my girlfriend passed through one of the ports of Entry in Wyoming, and as expected, was pulled in to show her permits book and say what she was hauling. She comes back laughing, and tells me this story. the DOT official quizzing the guy next to her was about to blow his top because he asked the guy what he was hauling, and the guy said "Boxes."
"Oh what?"
"I don't know!"
At that point the DOT guy goes, "Get out here, and the next time you come back, your English better have improved."
Man, he was angry. We got a kick out of it. -

I don't know what all the fuss is about dole. I'm delivering at dole now, I've been here 4 hours and they just started pulling product off the trailer. I'll be happy to get back to Kraft tonight, picking up preloads and dropping trailers.

Just got off the phone with my recruiter and after a few days of silence from them she said that my application and background was approved. She is trying to find me transportation on the hound, however (fortunately?) I live in a small town in CO and we don't have a station in any direction for like 200+ miles according to her. I will be scheduled to attend training in SLC, which is about a 6 hour drive for me in good weather, so I'm hoping I can do just that. I am excited, just need to wrap somethings up here regarding rent with housemates and then start this journey.
PSUMoose Thanks this. -
Let them know you want to park there and I would imagine they can arrange to get you a parking tag. Can't see why they wouldn't let you do that, but home time will be a hassle.
