My factory new trailer didn't make it 10 miles before I had to return for re-wiring. Seems the trailer was screaming through the QC to Prime RA that its tires were under inflated when there was clearly nothing wrong.
factory gal took 5 mins to fix. Seems this is something that gets overlooked alot. Late for my Mooresville NC Pepsi load but they loaded me right away.
delivered in caves, fueled, washed out, and tried to return to caves for my SLC load. Trailer was flagged inbound for some brake deal improperly mounted. Inbound strikes again when you are in a hurry.
Utility needs to get their crap together if this is the kinda factory work they're going to produce. There was a few years there where we only bought trailers from Wabash.

Some of Prime's trucks are rated for 12350 lbs - and you need to make sure your steer tires are rated for that too. Throwing some cheap Chinese tires on may just make you illegal at that weight. Check the axle rating on the sticker in one of your door posts to make sure about that weight. My Cascadia is rated for 12,000.
TA, Seville OH. After checking Sunbury, a couple of rest areas, and Lodi for parking spots. Pulled into the TA looked right down the first aisle, and there's a gimme straight-back slot open down at the end. Sweet!!!

Had enough o' the surge for one day in my box-shaped tanker!
silenteagle Thanks this. -

Can anyone tell me how the I75 is between Jelico Tn and Knoxville???

You have my condolences.

It goes up a lot. It curves to the right a lot. It curves to the left a lot. It goes down some, but not a whole lot.
It's an interstate built through the mountains.

Thanks IP everyone wants to be a comic. I was actually looking for road conditions. -
The other day we were in PA... my trainer declined a nice 1700 mile load because it delivered to a port and my previous trainer told me I didn't need a TWIC, therefore I never went and got one (I started my Prime experience in SLC). So instead of the 1700 mile load, we picked up a 900 mile load. I am now sitting at the TA in Gary, IN while my trainer delivers the load because when we pulled up to the 90... it was a port. Dispatch had no clue it was a port... so I guess we'll be headed to Sprimo sometime soon so I can start the process for my TWIC....

Or... you can spend the $50 or $75 fee for escorted access each and every time you are dispatched to a port - not to mention the extra time involved in dealing with this. Get a TWIC card - its cheaper in the long run, and you will get dispatched to ports. They don't grow bananas in south Jersey, ya know!

Pilot at Rotterdam NY. Sent up here for a Railex load but that got pushed out. Now heading up to Chateaugay NY and then to Utah.
