If only it were always that easy!! I was just talking to a friend who has a sister with the same medical condition as I do. I'm told she works out faithfully in the gym every night and eats right, yet she is still overweight. :biggrin_25513:

Based on where the placement of the majority of his fat deposits are, I think this guy has an underlying health issue. Whether it is the cause of his weight or the results of it, I can't say. But that is not normal fat deposits. I hope he's seeing a good doctor.

He's seeing Dr. Pepper several times daily, supplementing that with Big Mac sauce on everything.

BMI does increase risk of sleep apnea. By a small percentage. Thats why, there is supposed to be a questionare and neck size measurement. Included with the BMI measurement to determin risk. Also the state of Missouri, was the location for the original pilot program for this BMI based risk assessment. Which resulted in a few law suites. Which in turn, resulted in the addition of neck size measurement and risk questionare being added. It possible that this blog goes back to the time of the pilot program.

But to respond on current post. Proper diet and exercise is not easy. And there's no untreatable medical condition that results in being fat. If you're exercising correctly and eating correctly. You will loose fat and get in better shape. If you hit a point where you are no longer loosing fat. Then its time reassess the diet and exercise routine. And for the people who think that all fat people eat huge amonts of food. Quite a few barely eat anything and their body, responds by storing everything.

The truck driver shown in that picture TRULY and GENUINELY needs to lose weight! That amount of weight is a serious strain on his heart, along with the rest of his internal organs! The truck driver shown in that picture could end up keeling over from a stroke or heart attack! Also, for the truck driver shown in that picture, SERIOUS type 2 insulin dependent diabetes can TRULY and GENUINELY come about!

The truck driver shown in that picture needs to be TEMPORARILY pulled off of his job and sent to a hospital or clinic for serious weight reduction! If it takes 6 months, then that's the way the ball bounces. In the long run, it will save truck driver's life! Once the truck driver has had his weight brought down to a much HEALTHIER level, then go ahead and give him back his job as a truck driver.

I myself am battling a weight problem. I was 50 pounds overweight. I have lost 30 pounds to date. I still have another 20 pounds to lose. It is HARD, however, it can be done. I am seriously trying to bring down my blood pressure, along with trying to avoid type 2 diabetes. I turned 56 back in October. Both of my deceased parents, along with all 4 of my deceased grandparents, had either heart disease, cancer, or diabetes. I am personally trying to circumvent family genetics as much as possible.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
