Seems like there's about 95% of drivers out there have a very bad attitude. They complain about their job but they are the ones who are making it bad. Get off your lazy ### and show your dispatcher you wanna work. Just had to get that off me.

yeah we got some of those lol....they piss and moan about not getting miles but then in the same sentence will tell you i didn't take that load because.......(fill in the blank).....every reason you can imagine
i don't turn em down, even the short ones......unless the hours just don't work out with the time i have......and they run the hell out of me......
i just don't even say anything to them any more when they're in the driver's lounge whining just walk through with my paperwork knowing i'm going to get my miles this week -
The ones that complain about miles, refuse loads. The ones that complain that they're lonely, are pigs. The ones that want people to get out of there way, park in fuel island to eat. It goes on and on, I don't get it. I find that miserable people are not happy unless they're angry about something. A vicious circle, they make other people angry, and those eventually stop caring. It's sad.

It's really about 15% of the ones that are bad, the other 85% shut up and just go get the job done.

It's not just truck drivers with bad attitudes, that's for sure!
I had stopped at a local McDonald's a few weeks for my monthly "treat" and went through the drive-thru. The girl comes over the speaker, "You paying with cash?". No, "Hi, can I take your order", or "Hi, our computers are down right now and we're only able to accept cash at this time".
I realize it's not a the best job in the world, but at least it's a job.kerosene jockey, TRKRSHONEY and mje Thank this. -
Got no time for em, heck I can spot them within the first few minutes of talking as well at my company, when the first question they ask is who's your dispatcher (because they want to talk crap about them) I know to go find something else to do. Some drivers all they want to talk about is office politics and I never understood that. I try to have the mindset of a ten percenter, I will do what the other ninety percent don't or in this case do, such as whine, try to turn down loads, etc. All you have out here is you and the reputation you carry with you. We need those whiners and negative people though, they make you/us look that much better.

I read the title and expected to see the charter for a new motorcycle club in here.
TBT 5150, bikertrash61, KentuckyReject and 2 others Thank this. -
There's a reason truck stops are always full, it ain't the Subway or hours of service laws either. Pull in, goto sleep and when you roll out most of the trucks next to you are still sleeping.
