Put the litter box in the passenger side floorboard where it'll be out of the way.

The great thing is I can pull into most walmarts and restock on cat food and litter anytime I need to with or without a trailer attached. Once in a while I stop at a cat frendly hotel for the night or for my reset and let the cats go wild in the room. I picked up 2 scratch blocks for them, they are a compressed paper they love them. When they are worn toss them and for 2 dollars get new ones.

    You have no clue.

I had one that I picked up in Texas and it jumped out in Salt lake City on the same trip. Came right back to me.

You can have the same problem with a dog.

Depends on the cat, they acclimate well unless they really don't like to travel by vehicle.

For me, I want a one eyed mccaw with a wooden leg.

When I was in Salt Lake on that trip, there was a driver there who left all of the windows down and the cat in his truck stayed inside. He said that his wife got him at a shelter and he never saw the cat hardly.

I think he was trying to get it to move. LOL.

A friend who no longer drives had one riding shotgun with him, the cat loved to sit on the dash when the wipers were on, trying to catch them, I guess.

Last I knew, he still has the cat.

That reminds me of the cat I had. It had been dry weather while he was out with me. It started raining, he was laying on the dash. Turned the wipers on and he shot like a rocket to the upper bunk. Took a very long time till he got used to them.

Another time, in Laredo, the inspection station was open and wanted to know who I had with me. They brought the dog toward the truck. I said only a crazy cat.

They wanted to know how I knew it was crazy. I said it is 116 degrees out. The bunk is on high, the front is on high and the crazy cat is laying on the dash.

They started laughing and sent me on the way.
