No people will never learn "there's a but for every seat" and all them big comp seem to find new people everyday

When I talk to them swift drivers it drives me crazy! They pull stepdeck freight at $1.09/mi pluse $.34/mi fuel and get $.65/mi empty and there happy because they don't know any better. They don't have to pull money out there pocket for fuel,tires,and mantance they just call it in and they take it out there check.

I have a buddy doing a lease there and pays $1,100 a week for his truck a truck he gave $65,k that's worth $24,k but for some reason he tells me when it's paid for he will sale it and put the money up as a bonus and start a new lease on a new truck. After he pays everything he makes $.24/mi take home and is happy with his $700 a week take home

 

You need a new group of friends LOL

 

Makes me feel rich and smart around them!!! LOL!!!

 

When you guys who justify hauling no profit, dirt cheap loads by averaging them in with good loads start to realize you are being taken advantage of by piece-of-crap "transportation intermediaries" who don't think you deserve to get paid for your services at best or break even at worst, then you might get some pride and tell these scumbags where to stick their freight!

You can be part of the problem or part of the solution.

A company like Swift should have no bearing on an O/O that knows what he's doing. If a truck or trucking company is losing money, they won't be around very long, this isn't the US Gov't where they just print money to keep going.

The trucks that are losing money every week will come and go. Just accept it and stop trying to change other peoples behaviors.

 

I like to haul freight for $5 mile......... just sayin
