New Trainee at May Trucking

so how much is per diem and how much is actual cpm?

 

I have been here for 7 years and i ran the same on and off the loop! To say my experience is different is insane! I have done more time on 48 alone with may then any of you have with any one company together! ?????

I was not speaking for everyone when i made my statement. I asked "can i be on the loop" they said "no problem". At one point their were almost 180 of us loop drivers out of 950 drivers at the company so not as hard as you make it. Does your record have anything to do with acceptance. Like any job i'm sure it does, my list of accolades is long and I'm not here to brag about myself. My qualifications would allow me to take any trucking job i would ask for, period! Not because I claim this or that, because I have proved my worth!

 

You have to do what you must, nothing wrong with that JIMMY appreciate you taking care of US. By serving in the military now serving our economy!

You have been there for 3 months and now your the expert? I have family working there for the last 20 years so don't try sharing your WISDOM with me. You have not stayed anywhere long enough EVER to tell me anything! You guys on this board make me laugh. You all become buddy pals talk your friends into coming on where your currently work "yeah it is so much better then may" then 6-12 months down the road yall ######## about where your currently working! Don't believe me ??? go look at the furniture row thread and the may drivers that left to go work for them! LOL. One day you will wake up out of your "I'm new to the company love comma" and realize snap he was right this is the same BS.

I'll say for the RECORD that if Paloma is working for interstate 3 years from now with out walking away or spending a extended time off i will resign from may trucking company at that time.. Paloma put your money where your mouth is, your down for a challenge?! Now if i win (i'm sure i will) and you quit,get fired,or depart from interstate for any reason i ask that you delete your account and never come back to "TTR" if three years from today's date your working there i'll walk away from may... SO WHAT DO YOU SAY?

As for your broad brushing, let me say this. I came into the industry 4 years ago and started with May. My mother got ill in the summer of 2011 I asked to be put on the I-5 N loop so I could stay closer to home with my mom being sick.

They put me on it and I was being sent all over the place, from NE Idaho to Southern Colorado. When I asked Robyn Smith how those locations were part of the I-5 N route, she apologized and said they just couldn't keep me consistently on the 5.

I understood and quit, going to a company where I could stay on the 5. After my mom died, I came back to May and worked for another 6 mos. However, I discovered that I just couldn't handle being away from home all the time. So, I went to work for a small family owned regional company.

I would of stayed at May if they could have even come close to what I have now as far as hometime, benefits and pay. However, they couldn't. It is what it is and I accept and understand that.

 

Steve your a jack ###, i made over 25k gross in less than 6 mo here at furniture row. I also got a 1k christmas bonus. Me thinks i know why your head is so shiny, you also have a round mouth. Your experience isnt typical may drivers. dept your accolades and medal of honor badges gets you the best everything, like a special dept of #######es like steering wheel holder. I lost money in low miles and excessive idle which is ########. I can count how many 3k mile weeks with one hand with may, you can only count less than 3k on one hand with may. Do us a favor, at least give may a reach around for us with your extra hand. .

 

Hey know it all Dip Stick .. Yer people that have been working there 20 years has nothing to do with the new Interstate bought out by Saltchuck. Its a completely different company .. If you don't work for them, I advise you to shut the f up .. I was with May 4 years, 3 and 1/2 being O/O .. Its not your qualifications that got you that Loop .. It s you being and A ss kisser.

I have a PERFECT record, no tickets, no CSA points, nothing. And May told me straight out only certain people get certain runs .. So stop yer BS.

I will show ANYONE my settlements, I make double at Interstate than I made at May. I went to May and showed Cathy and Darrell and a few others .. Their jaws dropped!.
