I'm not a lease op or owner so i can not deny your statement at all. You put the numbers out there and I agree IDC op program is more attractive. I'm not a lease op tho and never would be because I know enough to stay away from that part.. KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING?? LOL As far as you liking to be a owner, I agree with ya I think more and more about that every day, If i left it would not be for another OTR company it would be to launch my own company (not trucking) or go LTL or Specialized hauling. Steve, I wonder if the management at Swift thought your youtube sensation mocking them was cute? I can tell you for a fact that when I saw that video and read other postings on the Internet made by you about Swift, it definitely placed a negative stereotype about Swift in my mind. So much so, I turned down an offer to work for them in the beginning. How's that a lie, driver?

One thing I have learned about you by reading your online postings here is that you have a very high view of yourself and demonstrate little humility when it comes to accepting others input and challenge on your personal perception of things. You talk a good about how we can "learn from each other", however, from what I can tell, you don't walk it brother.

With respect Steve, Scooters right. I wouldn't call that Ryan Smith video a recruitment tool for Swift. Funny video though.

 

You said "things I have wrote about swift" I have only wrote nice things about swift. I suggest you even read the comments in the video you watched and any of the threads I have commented on here in the TTR and you will see that I never said anything bad about swift.

Just so you know JERRY MOYES and RICHARD STOKINGS have both watched the video and died laughing they thought it was a PERFECT representation of their DRIVERS!! My uncle is CURTIS LATHAM and was till just recently the VP of SWIFT AVIATION GROUP. So yes they know who I am. They even offered me a JOB I declined and suggest them to BIG CAT if you must know the WHOLE STORY!

Your right however many people went to look into swift after that video. I in the comments section helped many of the drivers who were and went to swift or where ever the decided. So it wasn't all bad for them they had many drivers sign up due in part to my counseling (not the video perse) I might have to watch that it has been ages! LOL
