The main problem you will encounter at first is having to deal with and manage your relationship with the helpers they have with you on your crew. Experienced helpers look down upon a "Driver" who has no experience as a mover and is dependent on the helpers to load the truck correctly and handle the big pieces of furniture coming out of the house. You'll have to learn quickly how to load your truck and be firm with the helpers they give you. It can be rough enough that you will say I dont need this and quit. Ive seen it a million times.

just want to say thx for the replies once again. very sound advice. just took the drug test on Monday and waiting for everything to come back. Corrigan said they would work with my availability and they are for the most part a Monday through Friday with a couple of Saturdays a month gig sooooo I decided to ask my other job if they would give me just midnight shifts friday and saturdays. I will work both jobs for a few months if I can stand it to make sure everything pans out smoothly and to keep making a little extra money.
if this doesnt pan out I will try the few companies that offer regional to new graduates...
