Agreed. The forum would have been re-opened much more quickly if I had done a better job of managing our server and technical support providers. I made mistakes, and I am working to solve this issue so the community can continue with minimal interruption next time.

Dang Boss! Way to man up! That's mighty refreshing in this day and age of spin.
Acknowledged failure, accepted responsibilty, pledged solution.

Can we get you to teach business ethics?

Now you see why we are very partial to him? :biggrin_25525: Now you guys get to see what we see, since he's usually working on the back end keeping things running and smooth around here.

Technology is a double edged sword. We get so used to it that we forget how to get along without it

It appears that the posting time (top left corner of each post) is out of synch....from the threads we were "playing on" about noon...(5 hours ago) now are showing 10 and 11 hours for the posts made between 1130 - 1200...hard to explain otherwise!

Nothing major...just something that might need checking on....

Yeah, the server's internal clock was thrown back a few hours by the failure. We just synched the clock up to actual time, so everything that was posted before then suddenly looks a few hours "older."

    otherhalftw Thanks this.
