Well it was another good week. delivered in Waterloo Indiana Monday then went to Butler. Picked up a coil going to Kankakee Illinois. Stop that the shop in Gary to get air leak fixed on trailer and the ABS. Not to mention putting 20 patches on the steel tarps that I got and the swap from the driver from Kentucky. Like I always said I guess it's my job to fix trailers everybody else's time is too valuable to stop to get it done.
Delivered Tuesday that got sent to the port of Indiana to pick up a two stop load going to Mississippi. Did final drop Thursday morning then get sent to Jackson Mississippi to pick up a coil going to Middletown Ohio. Delivered Friday at noon then get sent to precision strip in Middletown Ohio to pick up a coil going to Laporte Indiana how sweet it is 10 miles from the house. Eight hours later finally got loaded parked for the night got up at six this morning and headed home. Made it to the house a little afternoon.

Have a great weekend, drive safe and enjoy the ride.

I'm glad that know there's other people willing to stop and fix their equipment and not pass it on to somebody else.

Nope, I wouldn't do that! This trailer had some issues. In the first 3 days I had it, I was at the T/A twice. In total, They replaced 3 brake lines that had holes, 1 leaking air bag as well as fixing the rear light that was hanging by the wires! It still appears to be leaking air, but not nearly as bad. when I first got it last week, it would bleed down to 30psi in about 45mins if I was parked. Whoever had it before me had to be aware of that!

READ THIS THREAD, ALL 400 PLUS PAGES OF IT START TO FINISH mtdewman. It documents Jim's experience with Maverick since his first day in Orientation and one that I recommend all new drivers interested in Maverick.

I saw two Maverick trucks in Dubuque yesterday. One was passing through town loaded, heading south on 151/61. The other was a new truck at Truck Country. I assume it was for a specialized driver because it had ramps for an RGN. It also had the beggest enclosed headache rack I had ever seen.

We go to the steel service center just west of town can't think of the name you'll know the one it's out on left side.
That's one of our owner operators. You are so right that is the biggest headache rack I've ever seen myself. If I remember right he paid about $6000 for it.

Maverick is working on a new trailer swap macro. To address the problems of people that don't take care of their equipment and trailer. It is in the experimental stage right now. Hopefully by summer they will have all the bugs worked out of it and issue it to the whole fleet.
That way people can be weeded out. or correct their bad habits so others don't have to do what they should have.
