WOW! I can't believe where this thread has gone. I originally thought she wanted help, and I consider that a good way to start, but now it seems like all she really wanted was a pitty party and thats not good. I don't care if your a female or male, if you mess up, you messed up. A good way to start would be for you to first admit you did wrong, no sence laying the blame on anyone else, just you. Maybe the punishment was to harsh, I don't know, there's always two sides to everything, but when your new and trying to get noticed the last thing you want to do is break the rules no matter how stupid you think they are, its there rules and they want you to live by them. You've been givin some pretty good ideas on here and I hope you follow some of them, and please remember your still a rookie and your not going to start out at the top! Good luck to you and hope I didn't upset to many of you. I'm done!!!!

Your in a great area for oil field work.. i would take a drive down 35 and start stopping at all those company's yards.. i run laredo regularly and i cant count how many small companies i see and they usually always have a few trucks out back it seems.

Yea I did tell you to be a stripper as a joke, but christ seems like you could do a lot better being a stripper cause your trucking history is screwed because of your stupidity... You get on here wantin everyone to feel sorry for you.. and thats not how to introduce your problem to the forum... just sayin

Actually I got on here for ppl to make suggestions of trucking companies tht they knw from experience mite work with drivers who have a mark on their DAC... NOT to be judged an ridiculed like most of you have done. I don't care tht yall think its my fault or tht u think it happened cuz ima female. I culd not care less bout the fact tht this is supposed to be a "mans" profession.. An I don't need ur opinions as to why or how it happened or wat I culd have done different. I want to personally thank the ppl on here who took time to make suggestions as to where to look for work. And as far as the ppl who are on here jus to make snide remarks yall can #### off :) so go head an keep making ur little comments an expressing ur opinions but if u aren't here to actually give me a few ideas I'm done responding to u. Have a nice day;)

How could you have 5 months if you got your cdl in August and you were fired in November. Maybe that's why no one is hiring you because you are saying you have more experience then your previous company is telling them you have.

First off nobody "thinks" it was your fault. We know it was your fault. Until you realize that it was you and only you who was the cause of your termination you're going to have a tough time finding and keeping employment. You can blame your co-driver, you can blame the company but the bottom line is it was YOU who broke company policy. What you dont realize is that some of us who are telling you the way it is are actually trying to help you. You're going to have a hard time finding employment if you cant admit your mistake. If a future employer asks you to explain what happened you'll get a lot further explaining that you screwed up and broke company policy. They are not going to want to hear something like "It's my co-drivers fault" or "I didn't agree with the policy so I decided to use my GPS". Basically what I'm saying is you need to own up to your actions and make any and all future employers believe that you've learned from your mistakes.

I'm sorry if you think my comments may be harsh or snide but I'm a firm believer in telling it like it is. I dont beat around the bush. I'm not going to sympathize and offer you a job just because you're pretty. If you dont like company policy then I suggest you buy your own truck and then you can operate it however you like.

Good luck to you in finding a job!!

that made no sense... ok lets review- u signed on with pam and i know any trucking school is 4 weeks some 3... so idk when you started in august but thats august-sep... then you went out with a trainer on the truck for 2-3 weeks so thats sep-oct so you actually have 2 months exp maybe less...
