Ok thanks. Do they require flags or just banners? I have neither. lol, gonna have to get something.

EDIT: just read through the series of posts. Great... Hope I'm legal on the tandems for TN, I've got a student.

Different states have different requirements for flags/banners/lights. I just went ahead and put on flags and banners to be sure. Pick up a "US Truckers Regs on Oversize" directory at a t/s if you don't already have one. Has all the sunrise/sunset times, etc.

Just you scale over 40k on the back end you might have a issue. I was way heavy on the tandems. Plus that load will beat you to death! Did you see the 50mph max speed limit between the tandems btw? I am wondering if they put them on all of them or just mine.

Apparently I'm going to Rincon GA to the GP. It's a paper warehouse :S says I'm picking up machinery though. Hm. Any of you dry boxers there will probably question why a flat is going to a dry box warehouse. Ha.

Yes, they all have that placard. It is there more as a CYA for liability since the suspension on the tandems is not good. 63 mph is ok but slow down for the bumpy roads because that those tandems will catch air for sure.

Doubt your going where we go place is pretty big. I haven't been there myself in forever. At least 8 months. Used to go there all the time with loads and pick ups.

I delivered the knuckleboom log loader in Louisiana and then I think I went to Arkansas to get a trailer full of steel from a driver's home area - he was in the hospital and the company was going to recover his truck. Obviously not a likely scenario for you.
