No difference really. There used to be Gemini, Ligon, and a couple more, but they consolidated down to two. -
Does Landstar pay for trailer washouts on its dry vans? How about the exterior of the trailer?

Trailer washout......OMG that's funny........

Yes, I'm well aware of that.....I have had my van washed out more than once but I own it therefore I pay for the washout. LS will let you take the company vans through a Blue Beacon every so often but as far as a washout I dunno, I guess if the shipper requires it and LS wants the load hauled either them or the agent would pay for it or maybe scan in the receipt and they reimburse......
My point before was most of these new drivers don't care about the next guy, they drop trailers with bad lights, bad tires, broken wires hanging down, etc etc and leave all the grief for the next BCO who comes along.....so if they will do that the last thing I would expect is for them to leave the trailer clean....a lot of the D&H shippers/recievers are the same way.landstar8891 Thanks this. -
There is an agent I cant remember his code but i know his name is Bill. I know he use to be Gemini. They have drivers that pull containers out of ports on chassis just like all the other container companies on chassis. But these drivers do this daily....
